Veronique Vienne quotes," Every new beginning is a merging of holding on and letting go." Each day I find myself resculpting life again and again and learning to navigate new territory. I've been a semi-hermit and a semi-monk as well as a gypsy by day and a 'pirate' by night. Seriously, I am degreed in the education field and a world traveler. I teach an eclectic T'ai Chi, balance, movement program and private therapeutic lessons as well as creative endeavors. My time is carved, allowing for avenues to expand and to invent a livelihood while having fun.
Many years ago my desire to travel began with the purchase of my first passport with no travel plans in mind and watching foreign films. These simple actions set the stage for different travel destinations to present themselves as exemplified in Lawrence Durrell's quote, "Journeys, like artists, are born not made. A thousand different circumstances contribute to them, few of them willed or determined by the will." I am a richer, more expanded, broader person for the experiences. "He who returns from a journey is not the same as he who left." /Chinese Proverb/
Travelogues combine with projects called "Wheel Chair Travels" are created from my various journeys. These sensorial experiences were presented at Community Life in McKeesport, PA.
